Additionally, they help children grasp the concept of equivalent fractions and addition and subtraction operations more quickly. Rainbow Fraction® Tiles are suitable for children ages 7 and up. They are useful not only at home but also in school, and children can do exercises individually, in pairs, or in groups. The guide included in the packaging contains not only exercises but also suggestions for parents and teachers.

Wide Range of Exercises

The guide included in the packaging contains instructions for each of the available exercises. The goal of the Fraction Names exercise is to teach children to recognize the names of individual fractions represented on colorful tiles, while Fraction Rummy is a card game that practices identifying fractions represented in the form of colorful pie charts or squares. In the following exercises, children learn to write down individual fractions, identify which ones are larger/smaller, and solve mathematical operations such as addition and subtraction.
